Canon GENERIC "S" SERIES RESET CODE

Waste Ink Counter Reset.
(1) Turn off the printer.
(2) Press and hold the RESUME button, then press and hold the POWER button.
(3) Release the RESUME button, Next press and release the RESUME button two(2) more times in
succession. Note: you are still holding the POWER button). The printer's carriage will "reset"
or move momentarily. If the above was properly performed the printer will enter the
"Service Mode".
(4) Press the RESUME button 4 times, this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp
will alternate (change) color with each key press.
1. Service/Factory test printout, including ink sensor check.
2. EEPROM - Info printout. javascript:void(0)
3. EEPROM - Initialization.
4. Reset the Waste ink counter.
5. Printer model setting. (More selections beyond this point - However it is best leave them unaltered - You have been warned!)
After selecting the desired mode (eg 4), press the POWER button to "set" the change, and return to the top of the function selection menu. Press the POWER button again to restart the printer.

Canon MP-145 Waste Ink Reset

The method used to is by reset the printer

Error ink cartridges are not installed properly (error E5) :
Step 1 : Push Power switch by continue (Push Power On/Off)
Step 2 : inserrt plug(Hold and Press Power)
step 3 : Push Reset button 1x, Let Power button, Push Reset twice till 0
Step 4 : Push + display change from 0 to 1 (push button + to change 0 to 1)
Step 5 : Push Power switch again , Printer will be print 1 page
(push power button–>start button till 1 page.)
step 6 : Open cover
Step 7 : Unplug power cable
Step 8 : Take out ink PG 40 and PG 41
Step 9 : Insert plug again
Step 10 : Push power switch
Step 11 : Open cover (scan cover)
Step 12 : Inksert ink PG 40 , PG 41 again

These are the step How to Reset waste ink counter (error E16) :
1. Turn off power button (power button is in ),
Press and Hold STOP/RESET then Push ON/OFF button
2. Hold ON/OFF button, press STOP/RESET button 2x
3. Let both of button and printer in to SERVICE MODE
4. Printer will be charging
5. After printer finish charging, ush STOP/RESET button 4x. (Waste ink counter reset)
6. Every time you push STOP/RESET button ,
ON/OFF lamp will change green and oranye.
7. Turn off printer dan and take out POWER button
8. Turn on printer again.

Mencoba Windows 7 Ultimate

Pada waktu pertama kali Microsoft mengumumkan akan mengeluarkan versi Windows terbaru, terbersit dalam pikiran saya kalau nasib windows baru tersebut akan seperti Vista. Memakan banyak resources, lambat dan masih banyak lagi masalah yang diakibatkan windows vista.
Tetapi pada waktu meluncurkan release candidate 1 yang diberi nama Windows 7, saya penasaran juga. Akhirnya saya coba instal di komputer saya dengan spesifikasi, P IV Dual core 1.8 GHz, memory 1 GB, VGA share 128, harddisk 80 GB, ketakutan saya sepertinya terbukti. Windows ini agak berat, tampilannya persis Vista dan masih banyak lagi masalah-masala yang timbul. Tetapi setelah saya cari-cari artikel tentang Windows 7, memang untuk RC 1 ini masih banyak bug-bug yang muncul.
Nah, setelah menunggu beberapa bulan, kemarin ada seorang teman yang menawarkan untuk mencoba Windows 7 original versi ultimate. Bayangan akan ketakutanku pada waktu mencoba RC 1 datang kembali. Tetapi temanku tadi meyakinkanku untuk mencoba dahulu.
Setelah mencari-cari harddisk yang tidak terpakai, akhirnya aku coba instalasi windows ini. Proses instalasi antara RC1 dengan Final release ini agak beda. Kalau di versi RC 1 instalasinya butuh waktu sekitar 45 menitan, tetapi di versi Final ini, waktu instalasinya cukup singkat yaitu sekitar 20 menitan.
Setelah instalasi selesai, aku coba download driver motherboard yang aku pakai (kebetulan aku pakai ASUS P5KPL-AM) di web site resminya. ternyata oleh ASUS driver untuk Windows 7 sudah disediakan. Selesai instalasi driver, aku coba oprek si sistem operasi terbaru ini.
Wah, ternyata sangat beda dengan RC 1, di versi final ini sangat kelihatan kalau microsoft memenuhi janjinya, bahwa sistem ini akan jauh lebih ringan dari vista. Aku coba mulai dari instalasi office 2007, sampai mengcopy beberapa file music, so far so good. Tak terasa aku ngoprek sistem operasi sudah sekitar 4 jam-an.
Akhirnya aku mempunyai kesimpulanku untuk sistem operasi terbaru ini. Sistem operasi ini memang lumayan ringan, bagus dari segi GUI, fasilitas dan yang lainnya. Tetapi aku belum mencoba di spesifikasi hardware agak rendah (mungkin lain kali ya...). So... guys kalau kamu pengin nyoba, coba cari-cari di internet, mungkin versi bajakannya sudah keluar. Sory, posting ini belum ada screen shotnya.

Cara Setup 3G Watcher Sierra 875/881/885

Tadi malam, tiba-tiba ada teman yang nelpon. Dia baru saja beli modem Sierra 875, tetapi setelah diinstall modem tidak bisa digunakan. Setelah surfing kesana kemari akhirnya nemukan beberapa artikel yang berkaitan. Akhirnya aku telpon dan aku suruh buka email yang aku kirim.

Cara Setup 3G Watcher Sierra 875/881/885

Langkah-Langkah untuk Setup Modem Sierra 875/881/885 supaya terkoneksi ke internet:

1. Pertama-tama pastikan WIFI di Laptop anda TIDAK NYALA untuk pengguna laptop. Untuk pengguna desktop yang menggunakan WIFI, harus anda MATI-kan juga WIFI-nya.
2. Jangan memasang modem terlebih dahulu ke computer sebelum menginstall aplikasi 3G watcher.
3. Masukkan CD bawaan modem Sierra 875/881/885 ke dalam computer anda.
4. Browse ke folder sesuai dengan Operating Sytem computer anda.
5. Install 3G-watcherGeneric.msi ke computer anda.
6. Ikuti petunjuk peng-installan.
7. Setelah install selesai, pasang modem Sierra anda ke computer
8. Untuk pertama kali Modem Sierra akan terditeksi sebagai installation mode.
9. Jika ditanya "Do you want to install ATT Communication Manager" pilih TIDAK.
10. Jalankan TRU-Install yang terdapat pada program file, switch ke modem mode.
11. Tunggu beberapa saat hingga Modem Sierra otomatis menginstall driver di computer, TUNGGU hingga muncul pesan "the device already to use" pada systry hardware wizard.
12. Nyalakan 3GWatcher, masukkan PIN simcard apabila diminta.
13. Setelah 3Gwatcher mendeteksi modem dan simcard anda, pilih Tools -> Connections -> Profile
14. Pada modem sierra Terdapat 2 jenis pilihan profile (DUN & WWAN). Pilih sesuai yang anda inginkan.
15. Pada pengaturan profile tergantung dari provider internet yang anda gunakan, silahkan HAPUS semua profile yang sudah ada dan buat profile baru sesuai dengan provider anda:

16. Jangan ganti ke setting-settingan yang lain.
17. Setelah semua pengaturannya selesai Klik APPLY.
18. Pada menu 3G watcher tinggal anda KLIK connect.Tunggu beberapa saat hingga modem terkoneksi pada internet.

Beberapa hal yg perlu di perhatikan;
-Pastikan daerah anda tecakup jaringan 3G dari provider.Bila anda sudah yakin, pada settingan network frekwensi band and bisa memilih WCDMA/3G only (berlaku untuk semua settingan modem 3G).
-Bila Sinyal 3G lemah di daerah anda, sebaiknya anda setting frekwensi band pada GSM only atau GSM prefered.
-Pada settingan GSM/2G prefered dan WCDMA/3G prefered akan terjadi Perpindahan frekwensi band secara otomatis dari 3G ke 2G ataupun sebaliknya dan hal ini akan menyebabkan koneksi internet anda terputus beberapa saat dan akan tersambung kembali secara otomatis.

How to reset counter ink T11/T20E

Ini adalah prosedur reset waste ink pada printer Epson T11 dan T20E.
(Karena prosedur ini secara hardware, maka harus hati-hati dalam pengerjaannya. Segala resiko yang timbul akibat prosedur ini, kami tidak bertanggung jawab)

Sebelumnya sediakan mainboard C90 yang masih hidup. Pada mainboard c90 ic kaki 8 nya dilepas dulu pake solder blower dan di kesampingkan dulu.

Kemudian ic kaki 8 pada mainboard t11 dilepas juga pake solder blower, setelah itu ic kaki 8 t11 disolder pada mainboard c90, kemudian setelah itu mainboard nya ngak usah dipasang pada printer, kalo bisa power supply printer di lepas aja dan di colokin pada mainboard dalam keadaan telanjang aja, langsung colok usb, pada saat itu dikomputer akan terdetect c90 printer pada mainboard dalam keadaan blinking dan langsung di reset pake adjustment c90, setelah di reset dalam keadaan telanjang gitu kemudian matikan maianboard bersama power supply, kemudian ic kaki 8 pada mainboard c90 dilepas lagi dan dipasang pada t11.

Untuk printer T20 sama juga alurnya, cuma nanti akan terdetect jadi c92, jadi harus download driver c92 dan download adjustmentnya di indoreset.blogspot.com .
